How to setup your prepaid subscription

Set up your Prepaid subscription

STEP 1: Purchase a GTA Prepaid SIM Kit at any GTA retail location or partner stores across the island. Mobile devices using a GTA Prepaid SIM card will need to be unlocked, or be carrier locked to GTA's network.

Things to Know: When a phone is "unlocked," it means that it can be used with SIM cards from different carriers, not just the one it was originally locked to. This flexibility allows you to switch between different mobile service providers without needing to change your device.

How do I unlock my phone?

To unlock a phone that was not provided by GTA, you will need to contact your carrier request to have your device unlocked. You may need to provide information such as your phone model, account details, and proof of purchase, and you may be charged an unlocking fee.

STEP 2: Install your SIM and you will receive an SMS notifying that your GTA Prepaid SIM has been activated. Your GTA Prepaid SIM Kit plan comes with unlimited talk, text, and data — valid for the number of days purchased.

Available SIM KIT plans: $10 (4 days) or $20 (8 days).

STEP 3: Once your SIM Kit plan expires you will be on Pay As You Go rates for GTA prepaid services. You can purchase an unlimited plan or a data add-on plan to activate a prepaid plan with data.

STEP 4: Need to add load or sign up on a plan with data? Access your Prepaid Portal to manage your prepaid services. Just visit https://myprepaid.gta.net/ or send SMS text message to 2482.
