Text-to-Action: Manage Your Prepaid Account by Text

Managing your prepaid account is quick and easy with Text-to-Action. By sending simple text commands from your phone to 2482, you can check your balance, add funds, and purchase data plans.

    Below is a complete list of available Text-to-Action commands and what each one does.

    Check Your Balance

    Want to know how much balance you have left?

    Text:
    BALANCE

    You’ll receive a reply with your current prepaid balance.

    Add Funds (Top Up)

    You can add money to your prepaid account using a prepaid card.

    Text format:
    TOPUP [Prepaid Charge Number]

    Example:
    TOPUP 21955569

    Once completed, you’ll receive a confirmation message.
    If there’s an issue, you’ll receive a message letting you know the top-up was unsuccessful.

    Purchase a Prepaid Plan

    You can purchase prepaid data plans by texting the plan name.

    Unlimited plans include unlimited data, local calls and text, USA & CNMI calls and text

    Data Add-On Plans:

    Data valid for 30 days. Data not consumed within 30 days will expire. After usage within the plan is consumed, Pay As You Go rates apply.

    You’ll receive a confirmation message once the plan has been successfully added to your account. 

    Auto Renew your Prepaid Plan

    Want to set your prepaid plan for auto renew? Free up the hassle of manual sign up by texting the plan name followed by auto renew.

    Text format:

    PLAN [PLAN NAME] AUTORENEW

    Example:

    PLAN 1DAY AUTORENEW

    After submitting, you’ll receive a message confirming your Prepaid plan is now on auto renew.

    Auto renew can be set up for GTA prepaid unlimited plans and data add-on plans.

    Share Prepaid Load (SHARE)

    You can transfer prepaid load from your account to another prepaid phone number using the SHARE text command.

    How to Share Load

    Text format:
    SHARE [Receiving Phone Number] [Dollar Amount] [PIN]

    Example:
    SHARE 6714803270 1 1379

    Once completed, you’ll receive a confirmation message. If there’s an issue, you’ll receive a message letting you know the load share was unsuccessful.

    Change Your Prepaid Account PIN (PIN)

    You can update your prepaid account PIN using Text-to-Action.

    How to Change Your PIN

    Text format:
    PIN [New PIN] [New PIN Again]

    Example:
    PIN 1379 1379

    What Happens Next

    • Success Prompt:
      You have successfully changed your GTA Prepaid password.

    • Failure Prompt:
      We’re sorry, your Prepaid password was unable to be changed. Please try again. If it still fails, please call GTA at 671-644-4482.
