Set Up your Prepaid SIM card

Step 1: Insert your SIM.

On most smartphones, you'll find the SIM card slot along the device's side or top edge. Use a SIM ejection tool (often provided with the device) or a paperclip to gently press into the pinhole, releasing the SIM tray for removal.

Step 2: Activate your SIM

You can activate your SIM by

- - Initiating an outgoing call.
  - Sending and SMS.
  - Performing any incoming or outgoing data activity like browsing the internet or sending an email.

Step 3: Access your Prepaid Portal

Visit https://myprepaid.gta.net/ to access the Prepaid portal. Your password is the PIN number provided by SMS from GTA when you first install your prepaid SIM. If you did not receive a PIN or would like to change your PIN text to 2482 the PIN command. See below for example of PIN prompt to change your GTA Prepaid PIN.

Text format:

PIN [New PIN] [New PIN Again]

Example:

PIN 1379 1379

After sending to 2482 the password you would like to use for the Web Selfcare portal you will receive a prompt stating you have successfully updated your password.

Stay on top of your usage: Plans are time-based and expire or renew according to the prepaid plan you’ve chosen.

Switch your plan anywhere, anytime: Text to 2482, PLAN [Plan Name]. See below example and full list of plans.

You can also visit the GTA Web Selfcare at https://myprepaid.gta.net/ to sign up for a prepaid plan as well.

Seamless activation and payment: Rates are deducted as soon as a plan is chosen, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free transaction.

No prorated payments or refunds: Prepaid plans are not eligible for refunds or pro-rated. If you change or cancel your plan before its expiration date, you will not be refunded for your unused data, calls, or texts.
