Understanding Roaming Charges

GTA postpaid accounts come with a default international data roaming cap of $500 per mobile line.

  • Once you reach this limit, data access will be automatically disabled to prevent further charges.
  • You’ll receive courtesy SMS alerts at the following data usage milestones:
    • $50
    • $75
    • $100
    • $250
    • $500

If your data is suspended after reaching the cap, you can contact us to re-enable your roaming data. Please note that the $500 cap will need to be paid before we can re-enable your roaming feature.

  • If you are travelling to multiple regions while using your roaming, please note that there is a $500 roaming data cap per region. It is possible to incur roaming charges that would surpass the $500 roaming data cap without receive a courtesy notification or data suspension.
    • Example: If you are travelling to the Philippines and use $250 of roaming data there then travel to the U.S. and use $300 worth of roaming data, you may not receive the courtesy notification. This may cause your billing to surpass the $500 cap.
