GTA to Hire More Employees to Meet Growing Consumer Demand in Guam

Tamuning (Guam), Thursday, April 2, 2015– GTA announced today plans to hire more full time employees over the next several months to meet increased consumer demand for its products and services in Guam. The local telecommunications company began a wave of hiring in October 2014 to accommodate efforts to enhance the overall network. GTA is currently looking for more workers in the technical and customer service positions and plans to bring an additional 100 new employees in the next few months.

Robert Haulbrook, GTA president and chief executive officer, says, "These are exciting times for GTA. We are investing in Guam and are committed to a high level of customer service. By filling these jobs with our local talent, we can fully support our growth on island." He added, "Over the years, we have made significant investments to enhance our network and expand our customer base. By increasing the number of employees, we are able to continue to deliver the most reliable network and provide the best customer experience for all."

GTA is investing over $20 million in various network improvements for 2015.
