Local telecom company gives monetary donation to Ayuda Foundation
(Tamuning, Guam- Friday, November 30, 2018) GTA has donated $25,000 to support Ayuda Foundation's relief efforts in the wake of Typhoon Yutu to help provide resources of food and necessities, and aid in long-term rebuilding efforts in the CNMI. The monetary donation will go towards purchasing much needed supplies specifically for the Council on Developmental Disabilities. GTA is continuously looking for opportunities to give back in impactful ways, most especially during this season of giving.
Roland Certeza, GTA President and Chief Executive Officer, says, "Helping communities has no boundaries when people need help. We are honored to support the efforts of the Ayuda Foundation, an organization that has, for many years, assisted with relief efforts throughout our region. We're committed to working with disaster relief partners to ensure the CNMI comes back stronger. Collectively, we can all make a difference."
Last week, GTA kicked off its annual 'Be the Gift' Holiday campaign, teaming up with the Guam Memorial Hospital Volunteers Association to make the season a little brighter for patients at GMH with a donation of Digital TV services for the Medical Surgical and Telemetry wards. 'Be the Gift' highlight's GTA's charitable efforts to give back and reflect on what matters most.
