(Tamuning, Guam- Friday, October 26, 2018) With Super Typhoon Yutu causing major destruction to our neighboring islands (CNMI), GTA is making it easier for families on Guam to stay in touch with loved ones impacted by Super Typhoon Yutu. GTA wireless, prepaid and landline customers can call and send text messages free of charge from now until Friday, November 9th.
Roland Certeza, GTA President and Chief Executive Officer, says, "Our thoughts and prayers are with those impacted by Super Typhoon Yutu. We wish our friends, family members, customers, and business partners a speedy recovery from this devastating storm. We are with them during times of need and are offering our assistance by supporting much needed relief efforts for our neighboring islands."
GTA is partnering with the Guam Daily Post and will begin accepting donations to support relief efforts in the CNMI. Drop off boxes will be placed at all our GTA retail locations starting today through Friday, November 16th.
Items being accepted include batteries, flashlights, tape, tools, tarps, nails, rope, mosquito coils, insect repellant, cleaning supplies, adult/baby diapers, wipes, toiletries, and personal hygiene items.
