- What Apple iPhones does GTA carry?
- All GTA TeleGuam stores carry the iPhone 3G 8GB in Black only, and the iPhone 3GS 16GB/32GB in White and Black.
- How much does the iPhone cost?
- Prices are based on a 2 year voice and data contract.
- Can I purchase an iPhone without a plan?

At this time, no. All purchases require a 2 year contract.
- I am an existing MPULSE voice customer on a 2 year contract andI have the $19.95 Move With It Basic Plan. What do I need to do to get an iPhone?
- If you are an existing voice customer on a 2 year contract, you will qualify for the 2 year Retail Price on the iPhone, given that you renew to a new 2 year contract on voice and iPhone data. You will be eligible for the 2 year Retail Price on the iPhone. Since this will be a new activtation on iPhone services, the standard Credit Check and Deposit Policies apply.
- I have a 2 year contract on BlackBerry. Can I change my services to the iPhone and will I be penalized?

You will not be penalized nor will you have to pay an Early Termination Fee (ETF) on terminating your BlackBerry service if you are changing services to the iPhone. You will be required to sign a new 2 year contract on voice and iPhone data services.
If you activated your NEW BlackBerry service within the last 3 months, you will be required to "trade in" your used BlackBerry with charger to qualify for the 2 year Retail Price on the iPhone.
If you are on your 4th month or more on your new BlackBerry contract, you will NOT be required to trade in your BlackBerry unit to be eligible for the 2 year Retail Price on the iPhone. Since this will be a new activation on iPhone services, the standard Credit Check and Deposit policies apply. - I have service with Docomo / IT&E / iConnect, can I keep my current phone number?
- Yes you can. You will be able to port our number to us through Wireless Local Number Portability (WLNP). Please visit one of our store locations and provide them a copy of your current bill with your active service provider. We will be able to initiate the porting processes so that you will be able to acquire new service with GTA TeleGuam while keeping your existing number. For more information call 644-4482.
- Is a credit check mandatory?
- Yes, a credit check is required. If you have any existing services with us such as internet, landline services or digital television, you will be able to use GTA TeleGuam's internal credit score based on your payment history. If you wish not to use our internal credit score based on your payment history, you may opt to run an Equifax credit check through GTA TeleGuam.
- Can I activate iPhone on Pre-paid?
- No. Prepaid services are not available for the iPhone.
- I have an iPhone that wasn't purchased through GTA TeleGuam;

...will GTA TeleGuam support my iPhone?
GTA TeleGuam will not be able to support your device as this device was developed for another carrier. If your device is unlocked or "jailbroken" you may be able to use voice and data on the GTA TeleGuam network. For more information, please call 644-4482.
...will I be required to put down an Advanced Data Device deposit? Will I be exempt from the Advaced Data Device ETF if I cancel services?
If you have an iPhone that wasn't purchased through GTA TeleGuam, you will not be required to put down an additional Advanced Data Device deposit. You will also be exempt from the Advanced Data Device ETF. You will however be required to sign up under a 2 year voice contract. The $150 basic ETF per phone, per contract year will apply to you.
- Will the iPhone be unlocked?
- All GTA TeleGuam Apple iPhones will be network locked.
- Can GTA TeleGuam unlock my iPhone?
- GTA TeleGuam will factory unlock your iPhone that was purchased with the GTA TeleGuam plan at the end of your initial 2 year contract term..
- I am an existing iPhone customer on a 2 year contract, how much will it cost to upgrade to a higher model?
- In order to upgrade to a higher model since you are an existing iPhone customer, you will have to pay the REPLACEMENT price of the specific iPhone that interests you. This will extend your 2 year contract.
- As an iPhone customer, do I qualify for the Handset Upgrade Program?

Yes, you do. Your account must be up to date with no outstanding balances. You agree to extend a new 2 year contract when you take this option to upgrade your handset. Below are the time frame requirements in regards to your existing contract that must be met to take advantage of this program;
12th Month or Longer: - $50 off of Replacement Price - $25 Airtime credit
22nd Month or Longer: - $100 off of the Replacement Price - $50 Airtime credit
- Can I purchase an iPhone at the Replacement price without extending my contract?
- No you cannot. The Replacement price requires a contract renewal of 2 years.
- What if I damage my iPhone, how much will a new one cost me?
- You will have to purchase a new one at the Replacement price. You will be required to renew your 2 year agreement.
- Can GTA TeleGuam repair my iPhone?
- If it is deemed as Repairable Abuse, yes we can repair it for a fee. If it is unrepairable abuse such as in pieces or water damage, we cannot repair it.
- I am currently on a voice plan and would like to upgrade to iPhone. Do i have to go through another credit check?
- Based on your internal GTA TeleGuam credit score or Equifax score, you may have to put down an additional security deposit to upgrade to an iPhone. If you currently have a security deposit applied to the account you may be charged the difference, if any, if you are required to put down a higher security deposit to acquire iPhone service.
- What is the return policy and warranty on iPhone?

Service Trial Period: At the point of activation, you have 14 days to trial GTA TeleGuam wireless services. If you are not satisfied with our wireless services, you may deactivate your line within the 14 day trial period without incurring an Early Termination Fee (ETF).
- If you deactivate after the 14 day trial period, you will be charged an ETF.
- If you cancel service within the 14 day trial period, you will be required to return the iPhone in "like new" condition with the box and contents that were included at the time of purchase.
- If you decide to keep the iPhone, you will be charged the difference between the 2 year promotional price and the Replacement price.
Equipment Trial Period: At the point of activation, you have 3 days to exchange your iPhone if you are not satisfied with it.Warranty: There is a limited 1 year factory warranty on your iPhone which starts at the point of activation. This warranty does not cover customer negligence or water damage.
- How can I maximize my battery-life on my iPhone?

- Will I be able to roam with my iPhone?
- Based on your rate plan and account, you have the ability to roam nationally and internationally. When you roam outside of the GTA TeleGuam wireless network, you will incur roaming charges on voice, sms and data services. For roaming rate please call 644-4482.
- How large is GTA TeleGuam's 3G coverage on Guam and where I can use my 3G or 3GS iPhone?
- Please refer to our 2G and 3G coverage maps for a representation of coverage. GTA TeleGuam has islandwide coverage on 2G. With 3G our coverage areas are the northern and central areas. in 2010, GTA TeleGuam will be focused on expanding the 3G coverage areas islandwide.
- How will my 3G iPhone perform when I am outside of your 3G coverage area?
- GTA TeleGuam has islandwide 2G coverage. If you are out of our 3G coverage areas, you will still have voice and data on the GTA TeleGuam 2G network. Data services will be at 2G GPRS/EDGE speeds.
- Does GTA TeleGuam offer corporate discounts for iPhones to its enterprise customers?
- GTA TeleGuam does offer special rate plans for enterprise customers. Please contact 644-1000 for enterprise prices and information.
- How do I give the iPhone as a gift to someone on Guam?
- You will be able to purchase Gift Certificates for the iPhone. Please visit a GTA TeleGuam store near you for more information.
- How do I get technical support for my iPhone and service?
