- Since the launch of the iPhone 4S, what iPhone models does GTA now carry?

GTA carries the following models
• iPhone 3GS
• iPhone 4 8GB Black
• iPhone 4 8GB White
• iPhone 4S 16GB White
• iPhone 4S 16GB Black
• iPhone 4S 32GB White (to be launched in the upcoming weeks)
• iPhone 4S 32GB Black (to be launched in the upcoming weeks)
• iPhone 4S 64GB White (to be launched in the upcoming weeks)
• iPhone 4S 64GB Black (to be launched in the upcoming weeks) - Will GTA still sell the iPhone 4 16GB or 32GB White and Black models?
- No. These models have been discontinued and replaced by the iPhone 4S.
- When will you have the iPhone 4S 32GB and 64GB models?
- At this time Apple has only supplied us with the iPhone 4S 16GB models for our launch on January 13th. We expect to receive the 32GB and 64GB models in the next couple of weeks.
- How much does the iPhone 4S cost?

New customer pricing is based on a 2 year voice and data contract.

- At this time, no. All purchases require a 2 year contract.
- I am an existing GTA iPhone customer, can I upgrade my device?

Yes, you can upgrade your iPhone device but the cost varies depending on the length of time you've had your existing Contract. GTA provides the iPhone at a subsidized price which is offset by the length of time that you are our customer. If your current contract is satisfied you are eligible to obtain a new iPhone at subsidized prices. There are four categories in which to obtaining a new iPhone with GTA.
New iPhone –If you, at anytime, enter into a new iPhone Contract if you have never had iPhone services for that particular line. You may also add a new line of service to your existing account.
Replacement Price – If you, at anytime, purchase a new iPhone at the Replacement Price (as shown in the tables below). This will not require a contract renewal. The Replacement Price is only available to existing iPhone customers only. Customers who are on a voice plan only or a non iPhone iPlan cannot purchase an iPhone at the Replacement Price.
Early Upgrade-If you are more than 18 months into your current GTA iPhone Contract you can obtain a new iPhone for the Early Upgrade price (as shown in the tables below). Customers who purchase an iPhone at the Early Upgrade price are required to renew their 2 year contract.
Upgrade Eligible Customers-If you have completed your existing 24 month GTA iPhone Contract you can upgrade to an iPhone of your choice by renewing your contract with GTA for 2 years (voice and iPlan data).

$869 - 64GB - I am an existing iPhone subscriber and have completed my 2 year contract. I qualify for the "Upgrade Eligible" price. Do I need to go through another credit check? Will I have to pay an activation fee?
- The credit check and $25 activation fee is not required for you since you are an existing iPhone subscriber.
- Is the iPhone 4S 4G capable and will it work on your 4G Network?
- The iPhone 4S is 4G HSPA+ compatible and works very well on our 4G Network.
- Besides the prices, what are the differences between the 4 and 4S?

There are quite a few differences between the two models. On a high level the 4S has the following that the 4 does not;

• Siri
• 8 megapixel camera
• Five-element lens
• Face detection
• Improved HD video recording at 1080p 30 frames per second

Siri is the intelligent personal assistant on the iPhone 4S that helps you get things done just by asking. It allows you to use your voice to send messages, schedule meetings, place phone calls, and more. But Siri isn't like traditional voice recognition software that requires you to remember keywords and speak specific commands. Siri understands your natural speech, and it asks you questions if it needs more information to complete a task.

•Siri FAQs - I am an existing GTA iPhone customer, can I trade in my current iPhone for a new iPhone?
- At this time, there will be no trade in program for iPhones.
- I have an existing iPhone 4 that is on contract. Can I activate a new line of service with the iPhone 4S on my account and give my older iPhone 4 to another family member?
- Yes you can. You will have to activate a new line of service that will require a 2 year contract on voice and data. When you do this you will have 2 active lines on your account. Once you do this, you can take the iPhone 4S from the new line and exchange it with your iPhone 4. This can be done by swapping SIM Cards. If you have an iPhone 3GS, a CSR will have to assist you with the SIM Exchange. The iPhone 3GS uses a regular size USIM while the 4 and 4S use MicroSIMs.
- Can I purchase an iPhone without a plan?
- At this time no. All purchases require a 2 year voice and data contract. If you are already a GTA iPhone customer, you do have the option to purchase a new iPhone at the Replacement Price without renewing your contract. This Replacement Price is only available to customers who have an active iPhone iPlan with GTA.
- I have an iPhone that wasn't purchased through GTA TeleGuam;

...will GTA TeleGuam support my iPhone?
GTA TeleGuam will not be able to support your device as this device was developed for another carrier. If your device is unlocked or "jailbroken" you may be able to use voice and data on the GTA TeleGuam network. For more information, please call 644-4482.
...will I be required to put down an Advanced Data Device deposit? Will I be exempt from the Advaced Data Device ETF if I cancel services?
If you have an iPhone that wasn't purchased through GTA TeleGuam, you will not be required to put down an additional Advanced Data Device deposit. You will also be exempt from the Advanced Data Device ETF. You will however be required to sign up under a 2 year voice contract. The $150 basic ETF per phone, per contract year will apply to you.
- Will the iPhone be unlocked?
- All GTA TeleGuam Apple iPhones will be network locked.
- Can GTA TeleGuam unlock my iPhone?
- GTA TeleGuam will factory unlock your iPhone that was purchased with the GTA TeleGuam plan at the end of your initial 2 year contract term.
- I have a factory unlocked iPhone. Will it work on your network?
- Yes. If your iPhone is factory unlocked through Apple, all you need to do is insert our SIM Card and update your software through iTunes. iTunes will recognize our SIM Card and push all our GTA Network (Carrier) settings to your device. Your device will be able to receive updates from Apple as well as our updated carrier settings for optimum performance. This will not lock your iPhone.
- I have a jail broken iPhone. Can I get GTA's carrier settings pushed to my device?
- No. If you try to update the iPhone through iTunes even with our SIM Card in the device, iTunes will restore the device to the carrier that the iPhone is locked to.
- Can I tether my GTA iPhone to my laptop and access the internet using my laptop?
- Yes. You will have to activate the iPhone Hotspot Feature on your iPlan. This is a month to month feature that will give you unlimited Hotspot and Tethering abilities on Guam. Roaming fees apply if you are to use this feature off island. For more information on iPhone Hotspot service, please contact 644-4482.
- What if I damage my iPhone, what are my options?

GTA and Apple provide iPhone customers with a limited one year factory warranty and/or repair fee depending on the extent of damage.
If it is deemed as Repairable Abuse, we can exchange the exact device for another like for like iPhone for a fee of $250.00.
For example if your GTA iPhone is water damaged, you may visit our Genius Bar to have it replaced for $250. The replacement device will be an approved service unit that Apple provides us. Warranty and replacements are like for like. You will not be able to change models or colors.
If the GTA iPhone is classified as unrepairable abuse through Apple's policy (such as in multiple pieces) you will have to purchase a new device.
If you wish to purchase a brand new GTA iPhone, you will have to purchase a new one at the Replacement Price. For more information on warranty and repair please call 644-4482 or visit our Genius Bar. - Can GTA TeleGuam repair my iPhone?
- If it is deemed as Repairable Abuse, yes we can repair it for a fee. If it is unrepairable abuse such as in pieces or water damage, we cannot repair it.
- I don't want to purchase an iPhone at the Replacement Price, do you have used iPhones for sale?
- Yes. GTA has a limited stock of slightly used iPhones. These are based on availability. The cost of these will be $140 off of the Replacement Price. These devices will be sold as is with the remaining Apple Warranty. The remaining warranty may only have a few more months left on the device. A 2 year contract renewal on voice and data is required.
- I am currently on a regular GSM voice plan and would like to upgrade to iPhone. Do i have to go through another credit check?
- Based on your internal GTA TeleGuam credit score or Equifax score, you may have to put down an additional security deposit to upgrade to an iPhone. If you currently have a security deposit applied to the account you may be charged the difference, if any, if you are required to put down a higher security deposit to acquire iPhone service.
- What is the return policy and warranty on iPhone?

Service Trial Period: At the point of activation, you have 14 days to trial GTA TeleGuam wireless services. If you are not satisfied with our wireless services, you may deactivate your line within the 14 day trial period without incurring an Early Termination Fee (ETF).
- If you deactivate after the 14 day trial period, you will be charged an ETF.
- If you cancel service within the 14 day trial period, you will be required to return the iPhone in "like new" condition with the box and contents that were included at the time of purchase.
- If you decide to keep the iPhone, you will be charged the difference between the 2 year promotional price and the Replacement price.
Equipment Trial Period: At the point of activation, you have 3 days to exchange your iPhone if you are not satisfied with it.Warranty: There is a limited 1 year factory warranty on your iPhone which starts at the point of activation. This warranty does not cover customer negligence or water damage.
- How can I maximize my battery-life on my iPhone?

- Will I be able to roam with my iPhone?
- Based on your rate plan and account, you have the ability to roam nationally and internationally. When you roam outside of the GTA TeleGuam wireless network, you will incur roaming charges on voice, sms and data services. The iPhone uses substantially more data than a BlackBerry or an Android so it is a good idea to monitor your usage. For roaming rate please call 644-4482.
- How extensive is GTA's wireless coverage and where can I use my iPhone?
- Please click here to refer to our 2G and 3G coverage maps for a representation of coverage. GTA TeleGuam has islandwide coverage on 2G. With 3G our coverage areas are the northern and central areas.
- How will my iPhone perform when I am outside of your 3G coverage area?
- GTA TeleGuam has islandwide 2G coverage. If you are out of our 3G coverage areas, you will still have voice and data on the GTA TeleGuam 2G network. Data services will be at 2G GPRS/EDGE speeds.
- Does GTA TeleGuam offer corporate discounts for iPhones to its enterprise customers?
- GTA TeleGuam does offer special rate plans for enterprise customers. Please contact 644-1000 for enterprise prices and information.
- How do I get technical support for my iPhone and service?
