Effective April 1, 2008, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has increased the amount of the Federal Universal Service Charge (FUSC) from 10.2% to 11.3%.
FUSC charges cover the cost of nationwide “Universal Service” programs established by the FCC, and are not controlled by GTA or the Guam Public Utilities Commission. It is not an increase in local rates.
