Guam Cable TV will never be the same: GTA TeleGuam launches Guam Digital Television
Guam Digital Television (branded GUdTV) is the newest product offered by GTA Teleguam. Introduced in the summer of 2008, GUdTV differs from the existing cable provider on island because the entire channel lineup is a 100% Digital and runs through the customer’s existing land line phone instead of through the traditional coaxial cable. GUdTV currently offers 200+ channels, which range from news, sports, movies, and music. GUdTV also offer high definition packages, premium channel availability, international channels, digital music channels, and an interactive program guide. Additionally, GUdTV provides parental control options and the ability to utilize a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) system.
The newest feature to be added to the GUdTV product is the Video on Demand (VOD) feature. This allows users to select and watch video content at their own pace and on their own time. VOD can be accessed at any time and allows customers the ability to pause, fast forward, rewind, and stop the recording to be viewed later.
