GTA TeleGuam Adds New International Channels on GUdTV Lineup
Latest additions include The Filipino Channel, Al Jazeera and France’s TV5Monde
TAMUNING, Guam – (June 25, 2010) – GTA TeleGuam Friday announced that it has reached a new licensing agreement to broadcast The Filipino Channel (TFC) The 24-hour Tagalog language channel can be added as a premium channel to either the GUdTV Choice Digital package or the GUdTV Essential Digital package GUdTV Essential Digital package . TFC will go live on GUdTV Sept. 1.
GTA TeleGuam offers 25 international channels on its GUdTV lineup. The most recent other international TV channel additions include TV5Monde , a French language network broadcasting news, sports, and more 24 hours a day; and Al Jazeera English , the 24-hour English-language news and current affairs channel. Other international channels on the GUdTV lineup include multiple Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish language programming. Many of the channels are exclusive to GUdTV and included as standard offerings on the company’s Choice Digital package.
"Guam is very diverse and GUdTV is all about choice and diversity," said Andrew Gayle
“We continually add new channels based on customer interest and licensing agreements,” Gayle said.
GUdTV now offers more than 250 video and music channels in its lineup GTA TeleGuam launched its 100 percent digital GUdTV service in October 2008 as a competitive alternative to traditional cable television.
